You wouldn't think, necessarily, that it would matter what direction you travel a road, the scenery would be the same. Turns out, that's not quite the case.
US-50 is definitely more photogenic traveling west than east. Not that the eastbound vistas are bad - they are not. There is something, however in my humble opinion, superior to how they present even traveling westward.
