Tonopah Surprise: Crescent Dunes Solar Energy Plant

So there I am, minding my own business, whizzing along US 6, when I see a bright thing off in the distance. Not being one to ignore a bright thing, my hands magically turned the car toward it. Thank goodness there was a corresponding road.

And so, ten or thirty minutes later, I'm beside this solar generation plant which stores solar energy in molten salt. How cool is that?
