US-395, California Edition, Once Again #1

Ok, I know you're hanging on every word here and my vacillating on favorite road is inconvenient, if not down right annoying. Point taken. But when you have two heavy weights slugging it out, who happen to be brothers, or identical twins (right Missy?), or God forbid, clones, like the OR and CA sections are, you should expect blood.

Well, it had been a couple years since I saw that big transition, sweeping down into Bishop, from the Highlands near Mammoth, and it is nothing short of breathtaking. Breath. Taking. In the end, I think CA is left standing in that brawl.

And if you object to my ham-handed boxing analogy to two roads well, you just haven't driven US 395, now have you?
